LITTLE TEIN FALLS AT CASCADE

LITTLE TWIN FALLS AT CASCADE is a small portion of the larger Cascade Falls in the North Shore of Lake Superior, near the Canadian border of Minnesota. My depiction, in oil on linen panel, is inspired by vigorous energy and rich natural beauty of rushing water on a crisp, autumn day. Quite honestly, my inspiration also involves Kathleen Hudson. Although, my first plein air waterfall looks nothing like hers, she coached me along, in her relaxing manner, as I painted, totally in the only style that comes by my own hand. Very satisfying, all in all.
