I asked my sister-in-law to swim over to this flat rock and perch on top to create the reference image for this painting. I love how her figure completes the triangle shape. Her elegant gesture and classic black bikini capture the feel of this hot summer day at Possum Kingdom lake, our favorite family hangout spot.
