This is a painting inspired by a favorite spot out in the Oregon high desert on the Warms Springs Indian Reservation. I pass it regularly on my way to Smith Rock where I go rock climbing. This particular day was special as there was snow all the way from the pass on Mt Hood to Smith Rock, a beautiful rarity.
