I absolutely love painting the contrast of black cows on snow, and how could I resist that sweet face?! I've painted this herd north of Boulder many times, and I love how fuzzy they are in the winter. I had a wonderful time building this painting, and I hope its viewers enjoy exploring all the delightful elements I've included.
