This is a plein air painting done high in the Sierras one summer day in Hope Valley about 50 miles south of Lake Tahoe, CA. The values were so good here near the west fork of the Carson River. One of my favorite places in the Sierras. Due to the high altitude (approximately 8000 Feet) there is always a little snow to be seen!
