Rich Grazing Land
This is a plein air painting done exclusively with a palette knife. This scene is located near the Garapata State Park just south of the Rocky Creek Restaurant turn off on Highway one looking south toward the Rocky Creek Bridge. I have painted here many times with slightly different views depending on the weather and time of year. I hope this view is available many many years but I doubt that will happen! The cattle grazing here may be replaced by a large hotel or something similar for the tourists.
