Though the waterfall was rather small, I realized that with the right perspective, this tumble of rocks could seem much more imposing. There’s a reverence to the water and a sense of uncertainty that the rocks may tumble forward at any moment. I liked that contrast of sensations and wanted to see whether I could capture it.
