I went looking for a red tree to paint "en plein air" and I turned the corner down a country road and found this beautiful scene of Gold trees! I had to stop and paint it! A lot of viewers stopped to talk and observe, it was unusual for them to see a painter along the road trying to capture the scene and the golden afternoon light on the gold trees.
