I love mountains and railroads. While in Alaska on a cruise I took photos of this train, climbing the mountain was perfect for a painting. Depending on the sunlight and time of day the mountain changes colors, so I picked the colors I wanted to see. The wooden trestle and the granite rocks took a couple of days to paint. It was a fun project to do.
