Red Barn and Lupine

Late Spring on the Central Coast of California when the lupine was in full bloom. The owner of a ranch where I had taught a workshop called me to see if I wanted to paint the lupine before it was gone, so I went out that day and painted it on location. The owner loved it and bought the painting!
