The bird depicted is the Snowy Egret a species native to Florida so the title is a play on the term "snowbird" which is used to describe visitors come to Florida in the wintertime to escape the cold northern climate. This beautiful bird is hunting for it's dinner along the intercostal waterway along the Gulf of Mexico.
