I created this for the Ellicott City Plein Air Event in 2022. I found a sweet shady spot and was able to dangle my legs over a creek as I painted the decrepit shack with a looming Victorian catching sunlight above. One of those magical plein air painting experiences. I wanted to capture Ellicott City's hillside and age.
