The Reward of the Climb: A Watercolor View from La Rocca

I was thrilled to climb the rocky path of La Rocca Archeological Park, a mountain that overlooks the town of Cefalu in Sicily. On every turn, I was greeted by magnificent views of the town, the sea, and the sky. I was lucky to get there at sunset, when the colors were vibrant and dramatic. I wanted to capture my whole experience of the mountain in my watercolor painting. This painting is the reward of the climb: a watercolor view from La Rocca.
