This painting is based on my experience of Anaga forest in Tenerife, Spain. Inspired by all the forms and colours that this forest was offering, it seemed so alive and communicative, and all I needed to do was to look and listen. However, it wasn't enough for me so I did a small gouache sketch which I have used for creating this large scale oil painting.
