Indie Girls

There was a joyful look on the faces of these women as they twirled and danced in their native garb. It was important to me to capture that feeling when painting their faces and gestures. It was also important for me to suggest all of the ornate details of their costumes. My joy joined theirs as I painted this watercolor.
