Dahlia Flame

This Dahlia was in my daughters community garden and was so bright and "bossy," you could see its beauty from a great distance. It was absolutely the queen of the garden. I was so taken by its fire and brilliance, that I had to photograph it and paint it bigger than life, because it was bigger than life in the flower bed.
