These ever so tall eucalyptus trees are on top of Depot Hill in Capitola, Ca, looking down over the Esplanade and Beach. They make the Hill seem 100’ higher! Perfectly formed in my mind, they grace the center of the village and are as iconic as the Trestle tracks, Soquel Creek and the Wharf. I was attracted to the deep blue of the sky shining thru the lacy tops of these eucalyptus.
