I feel that I share a special bond with elephants. Elephants, for me, are wise, have a lot of love to give, and symbolize peace. So, I chose this as the main focus and contrasted it with one of my favorite sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, “Damned Soul”, which portrays a human soul damned in hell and in agony to emphasize the duality that also exists in life.
