Inspiration came from earlier oil painting done of same tree in autumn. This oil on canvas was done from a wintry scene with the tree bare of leaves. Just the tangle of branches, undergrowth and snow. A blur of monotone with a touch of blue which reminded me spring will replace this scene with new growth.
